Middle School Tackle 7th & 8th

Grade Levels
This is a tackle football league for Roseville area Middle School, St. Rose, Parkview, St. Odilia, St. Johns schools, and any kids in the Roseville district grades 7th or 8th.
We will have two teams, one at each level.

*If numbers allow, there could be multiple teams at each grade level.
When
The Middle School Season kicks off the first week of August and runs through the weekend before MEA

Practices
Practices will begin the week of August 1st, 2025.
Practice times are TBD for the 2025 season. But will most likely be early evenings, four nights a week

Games
We are playing club level ball with MEYFL this year, and games will be weekly, typically on Saturdays or Sundays with a few weeknight games mixed in.
The regular season is eight games with four games at home at either RAMS or RAHS stadium and four on the road.
MEYFL OPPPONENTS:
East Ridge, Cottage Grove, St. Paul Football Club, Inver Grove Heights, White Bear Lake, Moundsview, Irondale, Saint Anthony, St. Paul East Side. Woodbury, Oakdale, Stillwater, Mahtomedi
*Buses will be provided for away games for middle school players and are mandatory to ride as a team

All gear provided by RAYFA includes:
- Helmet
- Shoulder Pads
- Practice Pants
- Game Pants
- Practice Jersey
- Game Jerseys
- Locker & Storage & Padlock at RAMS
Players must provide their own cleats, black game socks, and mouth guards.
RAYFA MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal at Roseville Youth Football Association is to provide every player with a positive and engaging youth football experience.
We are passionate about sourcing the best local leagues, facilities, and equipment. RAYFA coaches go through strict background checks and safety training programs so that each player may enjoy success and reach their true potential as a youth player.
Youth football at RAYFA aims to provide all players with a safe, fundamental knowledge of football coupled with good competition and the ultimate focus on fun. We will make sure that every player is coached so that they have the opportunity to learn the necessary skills and be the best player they can be. Furthermore, a focus on putting the team first, filling in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
The RAYFA board and volunteers will work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that every participating player understands the significance of teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship, respect for the game, teammates, opponents, and adults such as parents, coaches, and officials.
Ultimately, youth football is about development and fun. We hope every player feels they received that experience at the end of the year and is excited to return the following season.
