Flag Football

RAYFA is partnering with Moundsview and Oakdale flag programs in 2026 for an inter-association compeition. Flag is open to all players in grades K-8, regardless of gender. Teams will be organized by grade levels and will compete at Bethel University. .

RAYFA offers NFL Flag Football in a co-ed setting for kids grades K-8th

Grade Levels:

Kids will play in mixed grade teams.

K, 1st & 2nd

3rd & 4th

5th & 6th

7th & 8th

When

Spring Season:

4/12/2026-6/14/2026

4/12: First Pratice

4/19: Games begin

5/24: Playoffs begin

6/14: Championship

Games

Games will be played at Bethel University in the mid-to-late afternoon window.

Game times will vary each week. Please check your team's schedule for the most updated game times.

Practices

Practices are held 1 hour before game time each week at the same site as your game.

Player Equipment Needs:

Jersey, Flags, Mouthguard--provided with Registration
Mouthguard --required
Football Cleats recommended Tennis shoes okay.
Athletic clothing (dress for weather)

Can you make friend requests?

Yes! you'll find a spot on the registration form to request playing with a friend. It most cases we are able to honor this request.

What if my child has never played before?

Not a problem! Flag is for everyone from beginners to kids that have played for years. We are all about development and getting kids involved. All are welcome.

What if I can't afford the fee?

We don't want registration fees to get in the way of kids playing football. Fill out our Financial Aid form to be considered for access to discounts, scholarships, and equipment assistance. Approval will be determined on a case by case basis.
